Bridie’s Birthday Bash at Bon Vivant: A Day Full of Joy, Colour, and Creative Fun

Bridie’s birthday party at Bon Vivant on Gilbert Street was one for the books—full of laughter, colour, and just the right touch of magic to make it truly unforgettable. From start to finish, the day was an absolute delight, thanks to the dream team that brought it all together.

First and foremost, a huge shoutout to Cherry from Bon Vivant, who pulled this incredible celebration together in record time. Cherry is not just an event planner—she’s a true magician when it comes to transforming a space and making sure every detail shines. Bon Vivant’s sleek industrial style was the perfect backdrop for the party, blending functionality with charm, and offering plenty of room for both wild fun and sweet moments.

So much fun…

The kids had an absolute blast with the bouncy castle, which was a huge hit (and a great way to burn off the cake-induced energy!).

We also set up a little art activity, where tiny hands got busy creating colourful masterpieces—a lovely nod to Bridie’s creative spirit. And of course, what’s a birthday without a classic game of musical chairs? It was chaotic, hilarious, and full of giggles—just as it should be.

The balloon backdrop by Balloon House Adelaide was absolutely stunning—a vibrant, playful display that made the perfect setting for photos. It added a burst of joy and colour to every frame, and brought such a fun energy to the space.

As a photographer—and most importantly, as Bridie’s mum—it was an absolute joy to capture this special day. The candid moments, the belly laughs, the quiet hugs… these are the kinds of memories I treasure. I’d love to do more of these natural, joy-filled photo sessions for other families too. There’s something incredibly special about documenting real moments as they unfold.
